Introduction
My name is Amber, b.k.a. Amani on the internet.
I am a Lolita. I organize most of the New York City lolita meetups, anyone is welcome to attend. I am known for bringing girls together through these meetups. I also try to organize most of the Lolita events at New York Anime Festival, striving to bring to the East Coast what the West Coast has had for far too long.
I am also interested in Gyaru fashion. I'm interested in general Gyaru, Himegyaru, Manba as well as the more "dead" styles like banba, serenba, and romanba. Once I learn as much as I can about Gyaru, as well as gaining the proper wardrobe, I'll try getting or forming a Gyaru-circle.
On my free time I like to play video games (RPGs and Grand Theft Auto), para, yoga, and... just chillin'.

Thank you so much! I will be coming to at least one, but I'll be a little bit embarassed to show up in cosplay rather than Lolita. I'm working on a Juliette et Justine dress right now, but at the same time, to show up in a knockoff to a panel by a real designer is also a bit embarrassing, even though I am very proud of my work. I suppose I really shouldn't care what anyone thinks, but I've got to have some self respect. Oh I got the most adorable parasol at the Elizabeth center the other day; I think I'm going to try and coordinate something around it. It has a little ruffle and it's pink and covered in candies, it's just the cutest. I can't wait to see everyone. I'm just staring at the countdown on the NYAF website.

I'm sorry to bother you, but if you get the chance, could you please keep me updated on anything related to the New York Times photoshoot? (I can't get to Livejournal or anything like that on this cpu.) I'll definitely keep an eye out for the Sunday times this month, but it would be great to get a heads up if you've been given any other information.
